The recently renovated Hotel Grüne Tanne is situated in an attractive countryside setting on the outskirts of the Lutheran town of Wittenberg. This welcoming 3-star hotel is located in charming rural surroundings and has been offering recreation, relaxation and attentive service since 1994. Dating back about 400 years, the historic building of the hotel was once a knight’s manor. The hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind or take part in one of the many activities on offer. The historic town of Wittenberg is a short drive away from the hotel and has strong connections with Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation. This cultural town has one of the finest museums in the world about Martin Luther, while the Luther memorials have UNESCO World Heritage status.
